About

Built around Moose, a rescue story, and a deeper purpose.

Tosa Time Collectibles is a sports memorabilia and card brand built around something deeper than collecting. The name comes from Moose, our Tosa Inu, whose rescue journey is the inspiration behind the brand.

Moose, the rescued Tosa Inu behind Tosa Time Collectibles

Moose's Story

A rare breed, a second chance, and the heart of Tosa Time.

Moose is a Tosa Inu rescued from South Korea. Tosas are a rare Japanese mastiff breed, and many have unfortunately been part of the dog meat trade in parts of Asia. Moose was one of those dogs.

Through our work with K9 Global Rescue, Moose was pulled from that environment, flown from Seoul to Los Angeles, and nursed back to health. Today, he stands as both a survivor and the inspiration behind Tosa Time Collectibles.

In 2024, Moose was part of a much larger rescue mission in Busan, South Korea, where 580 dogs were saved from a meat farm. Every dog from that operation was transported to a sanctuary in South Korea and is now being adopted into homes around the world.

Brand Stewardship

A rescue story carried into a careful collection process.

Moose gives the brand its center. The same patience and responsibility behind that story shapes how Tosa Time approaches cards, memorabilia, family collections, and private conversations.

The brand is personal, but the process stays professional: clear communication, private handling, and respect for the story behind the collection.

The Brand

Purpose carried into every conversation.

Tosa Time Collectibles reflects Moose's journey. While the business focuses on high-value sports cards and memorabilia, it is grounded in purpose. Moose represents resilience, second chances, and doing things the right way.

Those values carry through in how the business operates, how customers are treated, and how every item is represented. Supporting Tosa Time Collectibles means being part of a story rooted in rescue, responsibility, and long-term impact.

Why Sellers Work With Tosa Time Collectibles

Clear next steps before any decision is made.

Sellers work with Tosa Time because the conversation is direct, thoughtful, and grounded in respect for both the collection and the person making the decision.

No Obligation. No Pressure.

A private review should not feel like a commitment.

The first step is simply to understand what you have and what you are trying to accomplish. If there is a fit, the next step is explained clearly. If another route makes more sense, that can be discussed as well.

Purpose-Led Brand

A business shaped by rescue, resilience, and responsibility.

The story of Moose gives Tosa Time Collectibles its name and its center. That same respect for second chances and responsible action carries into how sellers, families, and collections are treated.

Multiple Paths Forward

Direct purchase first, selective options when appropriate.

Tosa Time Collectibles primarily helps clients through direct purchase and selective consignment. For certain significant collections or unusual situations, additional private options may be discussed when appropriate.

Primary Paths

Direct Purchase

A straightforward path when Tosa Time is the right buyer and the seller wants a clear, efficient outcome.

Select Consignment

An option for select items or collections when broader exposure may be a better fit than direct purchase.

Available When Appropriate

Private Placement

Discussed for significant collections, rare sports assets, acquisition sourcing, and relationship-driven transactions.

Collection Review

A practical first step to understand category, condition, authentication, and possible fit.

Trusted Auction Referral

Mentioned only when a trusted auction route appears more appropriate than a Tosa Time path.

What To Expect

A calm, informed process from first contact.

The process is designed to replace uncertainty with a private review, practical next steps, and a clear sense of what comes next.
